Eric Hahn, founder of Premier College Prep, is a graduate of Dartmouth College who brings extensive experience to test prep. Eric has been helping students succeed on the SAT and ACT for nearly his entire career. Regular analysis of the SAT and ACT and constant refinement to his techniques and strategies is part of what sets Premier College Prep apart.

Prior to founding Premier College Prep in 2013, Eric managed a team of Stanford test prep tutors for a Silicon Valley education firm. He also spent two years as a volunteer high school teacher in a small Pacific Island village.

Eric has also been helping students with college application essays since 2013.

Colin

Tutoring sessions held Mondays through Fridays. $200/hr.

Colin is the Director of Test Prep at Premier College Prep. He is a full-time tutor who has helped hundreds of students improve their SAT and ACT scores. Colin is a graduate of Lehigh University, where he studied math and played four years of Division I baseball.

Prior to working in test prep, Colin worked in finance and helped manage a baseball academy. He also had a short stint as a professional baseball player. Now, he channels that energy of being an athlete into becoming the best tutor he can be. His love and enthusiasm for tutoring and helping students sets him apart. Colin is also a passionate Philly sports fan who loves video games and board games.

Zach

Tutoring sessions held Sundays through Thursdays. $150/hr.

Zach first stepped into the role of instructor as the coach of his Plymouth-Whitemarsh slam poetry team. While at UC Berkeley, he sustained his passion for teaching alongside Berkeley Engineers and Mentors (BEAM), providing STEM enrichment programs across the San Francisco Bay Area. He went on to complete a diverse course of study in Cognitive Science, Computer Science, and Theater Studies.

Before joining the Premier team, Zach spent 4 years working as a professional full-time tutor in Denver, Colorado. In that time, he gained a comprehensive and expert understanding of both the SAT and ACT. He has coached hundreds of students to success on their standardized tests and in AP Calculus, AP Computer Science, and AP US History as well.

Alex

Tutoring sessions held Sundays through Thursdays. $120/hr.

Alex graduated from the University of the Arts in 2010, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication, studying media production and dissemination. Alex has been tutoring for over 15 years, helping hundreds of students improve their scores on the ACT and SAT, working independently and for several test prep companies. In fact, Alex was one of the first ever Premier College Prep tutors, working with many students from 2016-18. Alex moved to the West Coast for a few years, but we're very excited to finally have him back on the team.

Alex loves working with students to find strategies that work for them, substantially improving their scores and bringing new college options within reach. His favorite part of tutoring is customizing his lessons and strategies for his students to make them as effective as possible. In his free time, you can find Alex outdoors with a good book, preferably something about psychology, his favorite topic.

Lauren

Tutoring sessions held Sundays. $120/hr.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, where she studied international law and politics. 

She is a part-time tutor with close to five years of experience preparing high school students for the SAT and ACT. She also has two years of experience preparing students for the AP Language and Composition, AP US History, and AP European History exams. One of her favorite aspects of tutoring is teaching the logic of the design of the SAT and ACT exams so that students can better allocate their time and answer each question with greater certainty. 

In her free time, Lauren studies French at the Alliance Francaise in Philadelphia and Latin at the Ancient Language Institute. She is preparing for a law degree and enjoys reading about American and English jurisprudence and the history of American finance.

Dalton

Tutoring sessions held Mondays through Fridays. $120/hr.

Dalton has been tutoring for over ten years, beginning with his peers in high school AP courses. He has since helped hundreds of students prepare for the SAT and ACT in the Philadelphia area. His experience includes tutoring professionally for several test prep services, as well as privately. He graduated in 2018 from Drexel University with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Management. Dalton greatly enjoys helping to figure out what test-taking strategies and techniques work best for each student and help them to achieve their academic and testing goals.

Since graduating, Dalton has started a 3D printing business and co-founded a company that is developing strategic board games. In his free time, he enjoys doing trivia with friends, competing in board gaming tournaments and following the Philly sports teams.
